Real Great Roofing — Our Process
From your first online estimate to the final QA sign-off, every step of our process is documented, transparent, and engineered to deliver a predictable result — no surprises, no shortcuts.
Our Proven Approach
Our five-step process was designed around one idea: the homeowner should never have to wonder what's happening, what comes next, or whether the work was done correctly. Every step produces a documented output — an estimate, an inspection report, a project schedule, a completed installation, a QA sign-off — so you have a paper trail that protects your investment and supports any warranty claim down the road.

Instant algorithmic pricing — no emails, no salespeople.
Most roofing companies require you to submit your contact information, wait for a call-back, sit through a sales presentation, and then finally get a number after a salesperson has visited your home. We built a better way. Our online Cost Calculator uses your home's footprint data and real Pacific Northwest market pricing to generate an accurate cost range in minutes — before anyone ever visits your property. You get a real number to plan around, not a vague estimate designed to get a foot in the door.
What to Expect
Why It Matters
Price transparency is rare in the roofing industry. Most contractors use vague estimates as a sales tool — the real number only comes after you've committed time to meetings. Our online engine gives you an honest range upfront so you can make informed decisions from the start. No pressure. No waiting. Just data.

In-Person
Free on-site diagnostic to confirm accuracy and catch issues early.
After you've reviewed your online estimate, we schedule a free in-person inspection to confirm the scope, verify measurements, and identify any hidden issues your estimate couldn't account for — damaged decking, improper flashing, ventilation deficiencies, or water infiltration that isn't yet visible from the interior. Our inspectors aren't salespeople. They're technical — their job is to give you an accurate picture of what your roof or gutter system actually needs, not to upsell you on work you don't require.
What to Expect
What We Check
Shingle condition, granule loss, and algae or moss penetration. Flashing integrity at chimneys, skylights, and wall transitions. Ventilation — soffit, ridge, and attic airflow. Decking condition where visible. Gutter slope, hanger spacing, seam integrity, and downspout sizing.

Pre-Start
A milestone schedule with full transparency before work begins.
Before we schedule your project start, you receive a complete project timeline — start date, projected completion, crew lead assignment, material delivery window, and key milestones. You'll know exactly what to expect and when to expect it. No vague "we'll call you when we're ready" scheduling. In the Greater Seattle Metro, weather windows matter, and we plan around them — giving you a schedule that accounts for the PNW's rain patterns and ensures your roof isn't left partially open during an unexpected storm.
What to Expect
Our Commitment
Your schedule is a commitment, not a suggestion. If weather or a prior project pushes your start date, you hear from us directly — before the day of, not the morning of. Your time matters, and we treat it that way on every project from Bellevue to Everett.

Installation
Specialized crews executing with documented protocols — no shortcuts.
Every installation is executed to documented standards that cover every technical detail — proper ice and water shield application in the PNW's freeze zones, correct nail pattern and penetration depth for your shingle type and pitch, flashing integration at every transition, ridge cap and hip installation, and continuous ventilation verification throughout the job. We don't cut corners on ventilation, underlayment, or flashing because those are the failures that cause callbacks — and who wants callbacks?
What to Expect
Built Right
Every installation is performed to the manufacturer's specifications required to maintain your shingle warranty. We use the correct underlayment, the correct fastener pattern, and the correct flashing details — because a roof installed incorrectly voids your warranty and creates the water infiltration problems that ruin interior finishes and structural components.

Completion
The project isn't done until it passes our proprietary checklist.
When installation is complete, your project goes through our QA audit before we consider it closed. A separate quality reviewer — not the installation crew lead — walks the full project against our proprietary checklist: every flashing transition, every valley detail, ridge cap alignment, gutter slope and drainage confirmation, and a final debris sweep of your yard, driveway, and landscaping. You receive a written sign-off document confirming the completed scope and your workmanship warranty terms. Only then is the project marked complete.
What to Expect
Quality Is Verified
Most contractors self-certify their own work. We don't. Our QA step uses a separate reviewer and a documented checklist — not a visual walk by the crew lead who installed it. If the QA reviewer flags anything, it's corrected before the project is signed off and before your final invoice is issued.

Greater Seattle Metro
The Pacific Northwest's climate creates roofing challenges that most of the country doesn't face. Persistent moisture, freeze-thaw cycles, aggressive moss and algae growth, and the combination of heavy rainfall and fir needle debris loads put roofing and gutter systems under stress year-round. Our process is built specifically for these conditions — from the ice and water shield specification we use at eaves and valleys in Bellevue, Kirkland, and Renton, to the post-clean preventive treatments we apply on every roof cleaning job in Woodinville, Sammamish, and Bothell.
Homeowners in communities across the Greater Seattle Metro — Redmond, Issaquah, Newcastle, Kenmore, Shoreline, Lynnwood, Mukilteo, Edmonds, Everett, Mill Creek, Snohomish, Monroe, and Lake Stevens — choose us because our process produces predictable, documented results. Every step is designed to give you information, not to obscure it.
Our process applies across every service we offer — from full roof replacements and seamless gutter installation to professional soft-wash roof cleaning and gutter cleaning. Homeowners who want year-round coverage for both systems benefit most from our Home Care Program, and flexible financing is available for larger projects. Start with an instant online estimate before committing to anything.
